CST Workshop by Kyoko Saeki
Kyoko, Founder of Healing Gardens began using Craniosacral Therapy (CST) to treat special needs children in 2002.
Within 3 months she was treating 50 children weekly. As a result she was rewarded by witnessing many miracles.
To name a few:
- Speech impairments were completely eliminated.
- Aggressive personalities transformed into children having a calm cheerful demeanour often accompanied by smiling and singing.
- Children stricken with Cerebral Palsy re-gained their ability to chew food and their sense of touch.
- Hyperactive children became calm.
And many more (see our testimonials).
She also helped many children and adults who could not cope with their stress at school and workplace. Their problems manifested in physical problems such as insomnia, migraines, unbearable pain in the body. And over years of her practice, she realised that stress was created by our problem-making mind. Mind is a useful tool if we make use of it properly, however, in the modern society, mind starts taking over everybody’s lives and creates all kinds of problems – fear, worry, anxiety, unhappiness, suffering and stress which can cause many physical problems.
One day an idea dawned on her. Kyoko decided to share her abundant knowledge of CST methods with others.
We are proud to announce – the creation of a CST workshop during which Kyoko will impart her real world, practical techniques and the way of connecting the intelligence with which she has successfully treated many people in Singapore and from the Asia-pacific region.

"My 9-year-old son has been doing CST for the past 2 years or so. At first I was rather sceptical about how a light touch of the hands can bring about healing properties, but I was impressed that even during the first session, Kyoko was able to bring about the release of a lot of heat from my son's head and body.
I see the effects of CST most when my son is feeling most stressed, like during school exam time. CST helps him to calm down and concentrate on focusing in his studies. It works on memory and attention span, and makes it alot easier for me to work with him. Likewise when my son experiences difficulty in school such as bullying or social issues, CST is an outlet for him to release his emotions and frustrations, and at the same time gives him something to feel good about.
I trust my son in Kyoko's good hands to bring about relief in various issues dealing with his emotions and inner-being."
"My son, who was delivered under emergency caesarean, has been with Healing Gardens since he was 4 years old. He was diagnosed with high-functioning autism at the age of 3.5. We first brought him to the occupational therapist to address his physical and sensory problems. After less than a year his therapist recommended cranial sacral therapy (CST). She explained cranial sacral as the software to work hand in hand with occupational therapy, which is the hardware aspect, so as to expedite treatments on my son. We could see him overcoming these problems when we sent him for cranial sacral therapy. As he grows older we could feel that he is able to manage stress with the help of CST especially when exams are around the corner. We would strongly recommend CST to children suffering from autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) Dyspraxia and birth-trauma."
My son has been seeing Kyoko for his asthma, sinus and teeth grinding for a few years. He tells us that Aunty Kyoko makes him feel much better. We also noticed that he grinds his teeth less at night after a CST session with Kyoko.
"Calvin started seeing Kyoko when he was six years old. Calvin had minimal speech and communication skills and as a result had lots of temper tantrums. Initially it was a struggle as the therapy required him to stay still for half an hour. Today at nine years old Calvin who has been diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) looks forward to Mondays as it is the big day to see Auntie Kyoko. He must have realised how it has changed him from a kid with low self-esteem to a very confident boy. The amount of conversation he has with Auntie Kyoko today during therapy sessions is endless. People who knew Calvin prior to his sixth year couldn't believe the changes in him. Unlike all his other therapies, this is the only thing that is not 'work' to him. It is something which he enjoys and can call relaxation. Thanks to his Auntie Kyoko."
"My son, Seth was diagnosed with mild ataxia cerebral palsy and developmental delay when he was 1.5 year old. I started bringing Seth to see Kyoko when he was 3.5 years old and after a few months of therapy I can see a quite significant improvement in his speech, motor skills and behaviour. Kyoko is a very nice lady, friendly and care for the children she is seeing, that is why Seth looks forward to see Kyoko every week. Seth is getting better every day so I really recommend this Craniosacral therapy for those who really can benefit from it."
